Last week I accompanied my father on a road trip from Miami Fl ALL THE WAY TO Ann Arbor Michigan. Travel would take two days going up, 3 days visiting with my sister and her husband, then two days driving back down. I was prepared to be miserable in the car but I actually loved it! We took an alternate route through the Rocky Mountains and I fell in love with the country side.
Ann Arbor was freezing. I have never been so cold! I kept having the urge to yell out “do you people know that the hot beautiful sunshine is flooding Miami right now? Why are you you still here?” Beside the cold I found the city to be very charming filled with great food. I appreciated every second with my father on this drive and the fun we created along the way… here are some of the memories we made.
